Darlington- Fred H Imel, 70, of Danville, a native of Darlingon, died Sunday in Danville. Mr Imel retired in 1972 after 30 years as a salesman for National Liquor Corp. He was a 1926 graduate of Darlington High School and a member of Bartlet Chapel United Methodist Church. He was born in Darlington Aug 15, 1906. He was married in 1930 to Lela Marshall. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Dan (Shirley) Hays of Danville, a son, Robert of California, a sister, Mrs Kathleen Sering of Crawfordsville: and two grandchildren. Mrs Imel died in 1967. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Weaver Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
